Holidays Have Started

Well the first day of my holiday has started. The day started out well with the bike having a flat tyre. Once we had that pumped up, off for a quick morning ride to test out the head sets, and while the music didn't work until we came back, at least Geri can now hear me.
When we returned, put the bike on the centre stand and checked the tyre for any holes. Found nothing, so put the bike back down and the first time ever, over it went. Luckily the Ocky nobs did their job and only a scratch on the mirror to match the one already there, and a very small one on the pannier. At least now I know I can lift the bike up if I need to.
The next few days will be hectic with packing and last minute checks and changes, but the excitment is building, and soon Geri and I will be off on the longest holiday we have ever had together.
Most importantly, 6 weeks away from the office.

Well Aust day out of the road. Not much done - was hoping to make the changes to the head sets, but best laid plans and all that.

10 days to go before the start of the tour. The trip is planned, the fine tuning is underway, and the packing is about to begin. Hopefully the run through New South Wales won't be too hot, cause Tassie will probably be freezing.
